The Milenco Aero 4 convex towing mirrors (ref. 2899) help you tow your caravan while seeing what is happening behind and alongside it. They come as a pair, clip onto your car's door mirrors and pack away in their bag when you don't need them.

Why choose a convex towing mirror for your caravan

Convex glass, which Milenco calls "standard", usually has the same radius as 95% of car door mirrors. So the towing mirror shows the road with the same perspective you already know from driving and parking.

That is why the manufacturer itself recommends this version, and it is the best seller worldwide. What's more, according to Milenco, every one of its mirrors that has won comparison tests since the mid-1990s had standard glass.

How to check you can see past your caravan

If your caravan is wider than your car, the law requires approved mirrors on both sides. In Europe you must be able to see 4 metres out from each side of the caravan, 20 metres behind the driver.

Milenco suggests a simple test: stand behind the caravan and look forward. You should see a mirror head sticking out on each side. If you can't, move the heads further out. As the saying goes: "If you can't see my mirrors, I can't see you."

What the Aero 4 design brings

  • Stability: the head uses the airflow to stay free of vibration and has been tested at up to 250 km/h (155 mph).
  • Strap-free: fitted with thumb-wheel clamps designed for almost every car, 4x4 and van built since 1995.
  • Durability: stainless steel screws in brass inserts and chrome safety glass.

Some vehicles need optional pads, sold separately: the Kia Sorento from 2010, Audi, Seat and Skoda models after 2013, and the Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover from 2014.

Excelente aparato, muy fácil de montar, enfría una caravana de 2.50 x 7.50 mts muy rápidamente, más silencioso que el viejo. Lo he montado y puesto en marcha este verano y mira que los días están siendo muy calurosos, funciona de maravilla y la luz de cortesía que lleva el split interior es una pasada.
Realmente estoy muy contento con la compra y el trato recibido tanto de Eva Caravan como del repartidor Ontime.

Perfecto para una camper 5,40

Tenemos una camper de 5,40 y lo hemos instalado en la claraboya de 40x40 trasera, muy pegada al portón trasero y con una placa fotovoltaica cruzada, es decir, muy poco espacio. Ya no teníamos esperanza de encontrar un A/A que se adaptara a estas medidas y buscando nos encontramos con este Telair E-Van. Aparte de que ha quedado genial en su consola interior muy elegante, es muy pequeño y se adapta perfectamente a un espacio reducido (ver medidas). Su rendimiento parece bueno (aunque algo ruidoso al menos en la arrancada, falta probarlo más). El envió se realizó en el tiempo previsto (6 días laborales)
