The AL-KO Safety Premium 2004/3004 Ø50 mm is a security system designed to protect caravan and trailer stabilizers. It is compatible with AL-KO AKS 2004 and AKS 3004 models.
This anti-theft device locks the coupling head. This prevents both unauthorized coupling and uncoupling of the trailer, helping to prevent one of the most common forms of theft when the caravan is parked.
The product was developed by AL-KO, a recognized European manufacturer of trailer and caravan technology. Furthermore, the system creates a robust physical barrier that makes attempts to tamper with the hitch difficult.
Thanks to its specific design for AKS 2004 and AKS 3004 stabilizers, the anti-theft device fits precisely. This avoids play and improves the overall security.
Effective anti-theft protection for caravans and trailers
The Safety Premium system acts directly on the coupling head mechanism. Therefore, it prevents others from hitching the trailer to another vehicle. It also prevents manipulation of the stabilization system.
This way, the device offers protection both when the caravan is parked and when it is coupled to the vehicle.
In addition, its structure is made of high-strength materials. These materials withstand impacts, forced entry attempts, and continuous outdoor use. As a result, the anti-theft device maintains its effectiveness even in adverse weather conditions.
Practical use and user-friendly design
Another important advantage of the AL-KO Safety Premium 2004/3004 Ø50 mm is its ease of use. The system installs in seconds. Furthermore, it can remain in place even during towing.
Therefore, it does not need to be constantly assembled and disassembled.
When the trailer is uncoupled, the device can be combined with accessories such as the Safety Ball (sold separately). This ball occupies the inside of the coupling head, preventing another vehicle from coupling the trailer.
In this way, the combination of both systems further increases security against theft.
